• $50,000 Grant for School Bus Security, Efficiency Enhancements

Albany, NY—The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) and technology innovator Zonar Systems today once again announced the second annual grant of $50,000 for the latest school bus security/safety/efficiency equipment. The award will go to the school district that submits the best proposal for utilizing Zonar’s widely acclaimed Electronic Fleet Management Solutions, including their Electronic Vehicle Inspection Reporting (EVIR®) system.

• 2010 NAPT Summit Scholarships!

NAPT is pleased to announce that Zonar Systems has graciously donated ten (10) scholarships for attendance to the 2010 NAPT Annual Summit to be held in Portland, OR, on October 30–November 4, 2010.

The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) is pleased to announce that Peter Lawrence, Director of Transportation for the Fairport (NY) Public Schools, and his wife Linda have created a scholarship that will help four (4) school bus driver trainers attend an industry training event this year.
